Montessori’s philosophy of hands-on learning goes right along with the STEM curriculum as children pair up to experience magnets attracting and repelling.
Children learned the parts of a scientific experiment and constructed a graph of the results to show materials which are attracted to magnets. Electrons moving in matter were so amazing as closed circuits were formed to light Christmas lights right in their hands.

Our students enjoyed a brisk electron dance, identified all sorts of states of matter and had a dynamic experience with making a colloid to take home.
